This is my first easel card. I've gotten the hang of creating an interior to the card that matches the face of the card. This takes it a step further, in creating a somewhat matching interior, however a part of the design is propped up via 3D glue pads, and it creates a panel that assists the card to stand up on it's own. Features of the card includes: Embossed stamped image (from Whimsy Stamps), hand painted. Edges and other shading produced by chalking. The painted wings are painted again with glue and then I sprinkled over with glitter. Accents include hand punched and molded flowers with floral center brads or gem, and 3 small green tile embellishments. A wooded floral cut out is enhanced with a flower brad and shaded also with chalk. All panels are matted in multiple shades of green on a creamy beige card base. The card face panel and interior panel is placed on a card base structure that creates the easel form. See sister image for the side view of this card. As for the greeting panel: I created a light cream colored panel matted in multiple shades of green. Since it would be difficult to write a message on the card, due to all the decorations, the greeting panel is separate from the card. Once the greeting is written, it can be glued to the interior of the easel panel, just above the interior panel. The greeting is therefore still kept private, even when the card is on display.
