Made this for a special elderly friend last Valentine's Day. She gardens, so I thought the saying and roses were perfect for her. It was my first time working with a store-bought paper doily. The pink ribbon is from Stampin' Up, and the buttons at the bottom are vintage from my grandmother. The green paper is from a Christmas pack I bought last year from the UK. I inked around parts of the card with Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip ink, and I embossed (and should have inked) the white piece of cardstock with my new Cuttlebug and the folder that came with it. (I'm a new card maker, so my supplies are pretty hodge-podge. Still, I'm trying.)
