Hello everyone. This photo is of my Grandmother. My Mom's Mom. I remember her just like this. She always wore dresses and loved to bake. Whenever we went to visit, there was always her best coffee cake made, Kaiser rolls, ham and potato salad. Always. Although I didn't know it at the time, she had a hard life. She had 7 children and worked as a cleaning lady, cleaning other people's homes. She lived through the depression and the war. That in itself must of been so hard. They lived in Chicago for awhile and my Grandpa boot legged for Al Capone. He smuggled it in the coal he delivered. I remember some of the stories she told about having to stay inside as people were getting shot down in the streets during prohibition. I miss her and always will. Thanks for letting me share some and for taking the time to look.
