This is an atc for the Scraps of Darkness atc challenge.

Birds at the birdbath in my yard left some feathers for me, theyre from bluejays. Ive been collecting them over time.

I used an MS stencil and made some butterflies with texture paste. I used a combination of lumieres, twinking H2Os,alcohol inks, dylusions spray, jaquard mica powders. I used some crackle and glossy accents.

If you feel like saying something, I'de love to hear from you.

I used watercolor ppr for this. I painted the butterflies in bronze lumiere. I put on different shades of green in various brands, trying to get a watercolor effect. Then I decided I couldn't get the butterflies to stand out, so I added purple, in different brands. I used small brushes and amounts while doing this atc. And water to help blend the colors. Plus twinkling H2Os were used.
The da has mainly alcohol ink. I put crackle over it. Earlier ide put it on the atc in a few areas. I also used Diamond Accents and Glossy Accents on the atc. I was trying to make the colors more vivid. I put the stitching on last, and painted it. The inka Gold Metallic Rub I put on the surface with my finger, and also around all edges. There are some areas that don't have shiny surfaces on the atc. There's microbeads too.
On the da the bling on the left is from my sis, the one on the right is from my mom, one of the last from strands of metallic thread and rhinestones ,theyre antique. She got them from a barn sale in Pennsylvania. I have strands of them on my Door County lo ,from 10/5/2012 ,with the big bo bunny butterfly.

Any blue you see on the atc is mica powder, I used purple but in a lot of areas it shows up blue.
The gold item is a bead cap.
I used small amounts of viva blue on the da, but it got covered up by alcohol ink.
