I am so enjoying scrapping in my new scrap room. I started this LO at about 2:00 am last night and didn't finish it until a bit after 5:00 am. The LO is based on a beautiful page by Memories of My Girls. Thank you Jan. The DA photo frame was a gift from my dear friend Chez. Thanks to Chez, too. The lovely butterfly is by Angelica.

The photo of my mom and dad was taken in April 1941. They were strolling on a Sunday in Central Park. They were engaged and going to be married in June 1941. My mom was always interested in fashion, but it amazes me how dressed up they were and how fashion has changed.

I come from a tall family. My mom was 5'9" tall and my dad was 6" tall. I have a female cousin who is 6'2" and her brother is 6'5" tall. I didn't inherit any of the tall genes as I am only 5'6" and my daughters are shorter than I am. even though their dad was 6'2" tall. The tall gene seems to have skipped a few generations, as my GD's at 13 and 15 are now taller than their mom and me.

I'm not sure why the product stars got messed up, but I'm not going to do this one over. Thanks for looking.
