Happy Birthday month our Dearest Suggie Boog! Having celebrated your birthday in Kansas a little early, you spent your 1st Birthday at daycare and then a quiet evening with Mom and Dad at home. You spent your first long weekend at Cousin Jenna’s new house as your parents had to work the Lyon County Spring Livestock Show. Your mom of course had duties as the 4-H agent, and your dad kept busy in the prize trailer. It was near winter conditions all weekend, but sleet in May and sun the next week is what makes Kansas weather famous. You were a sweet little girl that weekend, but reminded your Aunt Callie she isn’t much of a baby mommy. You headed off in a jet plane mid month with your Mom to celebrate your birthday in Montana. Dad had to stay home as it is busy breeding time and his job needed him in Kansas. You loved seeing your Uncle Mark and Aunt Julie who had special gifts for you, including a Tinker Bell ball that is a favorite of yours. Your Grandpa JP and Grammie had all sorts of fun with you as you started taking your first few steps while in Montana. Your favorite word is "bull," and Grandpa JP introduced you to his cow herd and the pasture where the Angus bull that is now mounted on your living room wall once roamed. We waited for your 1 year doctor’s appointment until you got home from Montana since you had to have a big round of vaccinations and blood taken. You did not appreciate that necessity at all. On May 17, 2013, you weighed 20 pounds and 8 ounces and were 30 inches long. That put you in the 35% for weight and 73% for height. If God boxes up the sweetest, most precious little miracles and shares them with us here on Earth, he truly outdid himself with you! We aren’t sure how we deserve you, but wouldn’t give you up for the world.
