we toured Lincoln over Easter Weekend and spent Holy Saturday here. A baptism was occurring and the few tourists stopped for a blessing (and many of us Blessed ourselves at the centuries old font as the party moved along the cathedral). There was too much for one little two pager so there will be more. The Imp is an interesting story as is the Bishop's Eye window and a royal connection! This Cathedral dates back to 1088.
