Photos from August 30, 2008 on Dorothy Dunn Lake in Vilas County, Wisconsin - my one and only time on this particular lake. It is supposedly a good musky and walleye lake (we fished for walleye and bass), but I think all we caught were a couple small perch. Regardless, it was a gorgeous day and a beautiful secluded lake - it was a long, convoluted drive on unmarked, sand roads to get there.

This is for my August Four Categories Challenge - Category Three ~ Technique: Stamping. The challenge is to use at least 2 different stamps on a LO, with a twist to use a background stamp. I stamped the brown border on the edge of the LO, the brown date stamp in the lower right corner, and used 2 background stamps - a graph stamp in brown on both the graph and orange pp's and a diamond pattern stamp in orange on the orange pp.

Thank you, MelissaW, for the Phoebe paper line!

I used a Sketchy Thursdays sketch from an old Monthly Sketch Challenge (June 2012). I pulled off the huge, ugly center off the Prima flower and replaced it with antique copper colored brad to fit in with the metal on the hat and sign.

TFL!
