My grandpa in march 1966. He had several places over the years he sold produce: The Joplin City Market, his own place on Rangeline, and the city square near the farm. He worked so hard during spring summer and fall that he turned his truck into a home during the winters and moved his family to park in Harlingen, TX. My dad and aunt and uncle went to school there for a several years. They used the showers and bathroom in the park. This was in the 30s. He bought citrus there and wither he or his man drove it back to Joplin to sell.
