This was Zachary's first year playing the infield, and he ended up on the hot corner. He thought third base was a bit like the way people view being in right field.. that it was for the 'loser' player on the team He quickly found out just why it's called 'the hot corner'. He started off having a bit of trouble fielding the grounders and making the long throw to first, but by the third game, he'd gotten the throw down and was stopping the balls a lot better. At season's end, he was recognized by the coach for his hard work and improvement playing third base. Aviano 2006
