The second set of pages about my grandma's nicknames. I've got one more set to go. On this first page it says Maw Maw. The picture in the top left corner is of her and me when I was a teenager. The picture on the bottom is of her holding an iguana. She's crazy!
Journalling on that page reads:
Maw Maw Florence is the best grandma ever! I rmember most of my good childhood memories at her house. We played Mardi Gras from the deck. She got stuck in an inflatable raft by the levee. She let me paint her ceramics and dig in all of her craft stuff. She let me put on all her makeup and dance on the coffee table.
Second page says Chicken. The pictures are of her and her great granddaughters. My kids. Journalling reads: When I got my girls we had to find a way to name each grandma differently to tell the difference between all of them. Alexis started calling her "the Maw Maw with the Chickens" (she had chickens, ducks and geese before Katrina) which soon got shortenened to Maw Maw Chicken. (They call my grandpa Paw Paw Chicken too. LOL) The girls love her beyond belief.
Can you tell I have caught the doodling bug? LOL
