I asked mum about this photograph, she said she was wearing a pink polkadot dress with cream coloured shoes, bag, gloves and hat. This was the type of clothing that she was expected to wear to church. The photograph was taken in the front yard of their home in Warragul. She thinks from looking at the photograph it was not long after she had started at Mothercraft Nursing School, but before she met dad. Little did she know she would meet a handsome railway man in the months to come and fall in love. Her life was about to change when she responded to a penpal letter and found the love of her life.
