This picture was taken on Father's day. My father's day present arrived and yesterday I was up until 2am installing all my "stuff" on it.
My toy is a brand new convertible widescreen tablet PC from Gateway. It may have less disk space, but it has more UMPHHHH than my desktop (which is saying something).
Anyway, so I decided that I HAD to do a digital painting/sketch to really test this puppy out. I added a cropped version of the original image converted to BW as an element and to show you how close I can get to reality now. Something my previous Wacom tablet experiments didn't allow very well.
I noticed after I was well into the drawing that my daughter is growing up on me, thus the LO.
