Mom found this old 1921 picture of her family. The hidden journaling reads: "My mom, Jean (right, age 4) was shy, with straight fine hair in contrast to her sister, Virginia (left, age 6) with her curly locks. I dearly LOVE my Grandma Bess' sweet smile here, and can almost see the sparkle in her eyes. How she loved her girls! And she took good care of Great-Grandpa Early, who lived with them. My Grandpa Elwood was the best mechanic in town, but charged very little, so they never had much to live on. They met while Grandma worked at the post office. Later, she wrote for the local newspaper, and walked into town once a week with her article, helped at the church, and was president of the PTA. Grandma died at age 39 of breast cancer. God is good to give me a godly heritage. I'm glad I have this family picture, made about 1921." Pre-made tag reads: Other things may change us, but we start & end with FAMILY.
