Hey...if there is anything you want me to show you how to do, let me know and the next time I visit, I'll show you. Any techniques (if I know how myself!) or products or whatever.
let me just say i really love what you have and it is great that you used your handwriting. Maybe you would consider writing on strips and then adhearing it to the layout to make your journaling pop. also maybe pick words from the border journaling and do the same thing. Inking the edges of the journaling strips would tie it in even more with all the great work you have already laid out.
I love it!!!! And your handwriting is great! I agree about the "comic sans" thing...so I MAKE myself handwrite a LOT of my LOs...takes a little longer, but I look at the fact that I KNOW my Mom's and my Dad's handwriting...will my kids know mine??? YES!!!!
I have been wanting to do a page about Christopher so that in years to come, he can look back and see what all of his favorite things were when he was five years old. I have never liked my own handwriting, but I bit the bullet and handwrote this one so that my children won't look back one day and say, "Wow! Mommy's handwriting looks just like that Comic Sans font!"
Journaling around the edges reads: You love to play catch with Daddy - You love to cook with Mommy - You love to play with Elizabeth - You love to play tee-ball - You love to play on the computer - You love to sing - You love Roux - You love to take baths - You love to play outside - You love to talk about God - Your favorite color is green - Your favorite foods: pizza, carrots, grapes, and strawberries - You love to watch Animal Planet, Disney Channel, and Nickelodeon - You love Spiderman - You are LOVED!
Poem reads: What promise, what hope, what infinite joy God sent to us in this sweet, lovely boy!
