Oh you are soooooo talented~this is so beautiful!!! I love aprons~my Granny always wore one when she was in the kitchen, I don't that is why all my clothes have stains all over them-lol!
Wow! This is really cool! You are so industrious! I used to sew all the time when I was younger and made a lot of crafts as well as all kinds of clothes but our house is so small (I may have already told you this...:-) ) I got tired of taking my sewing machine out and having to put it back up! Now, I'm into scrappin', cardmaking and have also been into photography most of my life! Sure love how you fused the flowers to the burlap. Very cool! BTW, I put this on a couple of my Pinterest boards! :-)
I saw this great idea on Connie Mercer's gallery (Connie M) and went right to her blog to see more! She was so kind to offer me a generous piece of her retro/vintage fabric to complete this project! I painted over the HD logo on the front w/acrylic paint; then covered with burlap (I used 2 sided iron on fusible web) I fussy cut a few fabric flowers and ironed those on w/web. I sewed on the ric-rac. Rather than 'gathering' the fabric, I chose to put pleats in it; and then you add it like a skirt -
