I cannot believe your parents kept all the documents that you use on your lo's; they are such wonderful additions to your gorgeous heritage lo's!! You do look like a treasure in their eyes, Alice! I saved my 2 hospital bills for my kids and was shocked at the increase in 7 yrs apart! So your dad was right even back then.
My uncle took these photos of my parents and me when I was about three months old. I was the very first child in the family and they were all very proud of me. I used the G45 Little Darlings collection for this page.
At the lower left, tucked into the flowers, I inserted my parents' hospital bill for my delivery and my mother's post partum care. She was in the hospital k10 days, which was the norm for that time, and they were charged $85 dollars. When my dad was older, he sold medical insurance policies to large groups such as unions. He would bring that bill to show the exponential increase in hospital costs, therefore the need to purchase good medical insurance.
