This lovely photo is of my great-aunt Rose, taken around 1920 or slightly earlier. Will be entered on the Boy Meets girl challenge blog. I used Pink Paislee Hope Chest and added lots of layers and texture, some handstitching and stenciling. The little rocking chair is from Dusty Attic. One of the many photos of aunt Rose I found in the collection of family pics was labeled with this title; unfortunately that particular photo was too small and unclear to scrap, but I loved the idea of using a title someone had used for one of her pictures years and years ago. She seemed to enjoy having her picture taken, whereas her older sister, my grandmother, always looked a little shy and reserved in her photos. I don't remember her well, but she did seem louder and more outgoing than my grandmother was...funny what insight to people you can gain just from an old photograph.
