I made this layout of the first time I saw my baby brother after the birth of his child. The journaling says: I see it. Even through the mask, I know it is there. That lopsided grin of yours. Always accompanied by a certain twinkle in your eye. Soon followed by an ever-so-slightly cocky laugh, as if to say, "Hey, sis...look what I just did." This time, though, it is something that won't get you into trouble. It is something extraordinary. This was the first time I saw you after Tyler was born. This was the first time I saw you as a father. I see the look of wonder and awe in your expression. I see the excitement as you are ready to follow your wife and son into the hospital room. I see the barely contained pride beaming through you. Most of all, I see a man ready to savor fatherhood. I see a dad.
