Photos from back in 2009 when Cassie first started in Prep for Pointe. These are from the October Parents' Day. I either didn't go to the other classes or just didn't take photos - I'm not sure - but I do remember how excited I was about her starting Prep. LOL Anyway, I decided to use this page to journal about what classes she was taking that year. Also, the group barre shot was my Photo of the Day for the POD challenge here at sb.com that day.

Journaling - Cassie is now up to 5 classes per week this dance year: Accelerated Ballet 3-4, Tab & Ballet 6, and Jazz 3-4 with Miss Kim on Tuesdays, Accelerated Tap 3/4-4 with Miss Lisa on Wednesdays, and Prep for Pointe with Miss Melissa on Thursdays. The Prep class is combined with the older girls in Beginning Pointe. Parents' Day 10/15 P.O.D (c.rt.)

This is my example for my November Four Categories Challenge - Category One ~ Product: Washi Tape. I have 7 different washis here. The twist is to use it in at least 2 different ways. I used it 3 different ways myself, and I also included 2 different techniques that were done for me by my friend Mindy (mindyradio). 1) I layered two tapes just straight off the roll (the vertical center border strips). 2) I made two flags using toothpicks. And 3) I layered 4 different washis on white cs and punched out the heart and two small flowers. Mindy gave me the washi banner, and I added the alphas to form part of my title. She also gave me the two awesome flowers made from washi and buttons. Thank you, Mindy!!
