I made these two very similar cards because I forgot to use the "Daisy Garden" die-cut on my first one. I was disappointed when I realized there was nowhere to add it without covering up my stamped image. So, voila! I made a second one in mere minutes and got everything on it that I wanted. LOL. The beauty of it is that now I actually have two cards on hand and didn't have to come up with a new idea for each.

I used my Sarah Kay Country Girl stamp for these two cards and decided that with the busy Recollections rooster paper it might look nice to leave the image stamped but not coloured in, for a change. I added on some pinkish burlap, Jolee's rooster embellies from my mom ("Quick Silver"), a beaded daisy, and some glittery rust-coloured leaves.

Thanks to my mom for the brown polka-dot paper used on each card and for the rooster embellishments. Another cardmaker on the site gave my mom the K & Co. "Daisy Garden" die-cut (Plaktorin?) and my mom gave it to me.

AND THANK YOU TO ALL WHO VIEW THESE CARDS AND/OR CHOOSE TO LEAVE A COMMENT.
