Here's my tag for Day 2 of Swirlydoos' 12 Days Contest.
When I read "feathers" on the blog, I immediately remembered the feathery wings that I received in a long, long ago kit and thought, "hmmmmmm, tree"! The background was created by applying light modeling paste through my Crafter's Workshop flurries stencil (speaking of long, long ago kits!). While the paste was still wet, I poured on sliver Stampendous glitter and let it dry. Next, I cut my wings in half and positioned them to shape a tree. I used a very old Prima bling swirl to "trim" it; the bottom was made from pearls that Rae had given me. I was sort of stumped about the rub-ons. Not only do I not have any Christmas ones, but I had forgotten all about it until the very end and realized that it just wasn't going to work on feathers and glitter, lol. Well, nothing to lose, right? They worked beautifully on a piece of seam binding!!!
Thanks, Paulien for coming up with this; it was a lot of fun assembling "feathers, silver and a rub-on"!
