My last LO for July '08. Abigail had been to the groomer so dd and I had both dogs out in the backyard for some photos. I've been putting off scrapping these pics because I had so many, about 25, and there were only a few I didn't care to use. I finally came up with a design I could use to fit them -- I got all 19 that I wanted on this LO, and I'm really happy with the way it came together. I chose my favorite photo of each dog to print in 4x6, and printed all the rest in 2x3.

I used the EK Success film strip punch to make the edges of my film strips. The overall size of that punch was too small, so I cut each punched strip in half and adhered the edges to larger 2x12" strips of cs then placed my horizontal photos (trimmed a bit from the 3" dimension) on them. I arranged the vertical photos in the middle after I splattered a little black paint and machine stitched on the journaling cards. I also stitched on the banner strip on the right, and across the little alphas I used for their names. I used a couple epoxy quote embellies: "Dogs are not our whole life, but they makes our lives whole."-Roger Caras and "A house is not a home without a dog." The title "Home is where your dog is." is stamped and heat embossed. Other than that, I punched and doodled on some circles and a heart, added some heart rub-ons, and used some wooden camera embellies.

This is for a VLB Challenge to use paint on a LO.

Also for the December Pet Challenge.

TFL!
