Give a Cheer
(Sorry for the not so clear image; it's dark and dank here today and this is the best I could get.)
It's Day 4 of Swirlydoos' 12 Days of Christmas Contest and today, Krissy not only provided us with a mixed media challenge, but she uploaded a tutorial for inspiration!!!!
I decided to make a tag for Day 4, using a bit more of last year's Kaisercraft Turtle Dove paper for my background.
I used a couple of my favorite Tim Holtz dies to cut my chipboard. I spritzed the tree with some Lindy's Starburst in Gator Gumbo Olive (thanks, Krissy, that's a great tip!) and then slathered on the Ferro: Golden Green for the body and Gold Iron for the trunk. While waiting for it to dry, I applied a thin coat of Elmer's glue to the deer and then poured on Distress Glitter in Brushed Corduroy. The snow on the tree and at the base of my tag is Aleen's True Snow that I've had forever. The fence is the bit that I had left over from the August kit. The trims are from a much appreciated RAK from Shelly, thanks, sweetie!!!!
