Hey Justie, glad to see a new post from you. Such amazing old photo you have to work with here. I like how you used this photo sleeve page protector. I haven't braved trying this yet as I am fixated on 12x12's, but I love how this turned out. I may have to pick some of those up and broaden my horizon... TFS!
This layout I decided to do a little different. It kind of like a project life style layout. But made it more for family photos and family history and stories.
The top left corner of the layout is of my maternal great great great grandparents David and Zeferine (Sarrault) Gouin. They were both born in Quebec, Canada. Both spoke French. They moved to Cheboygan, Michigan sometime around the 1870s. Zeferine, would not speak a word of English. She would only speak French. She did for the rest of her days. I'm not sure if their children spoke French. I'm sure they did if she'd only speak French. Their daughter Minnie Gouin is my great great grandmother. Zeferine is in the last two photos in the bottom of the layout. With some of her daughters.
All four photos are copies and were printed out with the Canon Selphy CP 900 compact wireless printer.
Product Used: Black Cardstock (Wal-Mart Brand) Plain White Cardstock Pattern paper mounted to Zeferine photo (RAK I received from youtube scrapbook friend) American Craft Remark Stickers Black (Gouin) The Legacy and Vine diecut (from Lauri D.)
