From the Medici Chapels we walked to the River to see the famous bridge with the little shops and homes built into the walls over the arches on the bridge.

All too quickly it was time to head to the Hard Rock Café to meet our group and head back for the ship. We had beautiful weather all day but the minute we got in the van it started raining! What perfect timing!

On the way back to the ship the driver stopped at a convenience so Bill could buy a case of Coke to have in our room on the ship.

I thought it was really nice when we got back to the ship that Holland America had a stand set next to the gangway to offer all the passengers a steaming cup of hot chocolate since it was a chilly day. It was really rich hot cocoa – one of the touches that makes Holland America so special for us!

After cleaning up a little bit we attended the production show. I can honestly say this is the best ship's production show I have ever seen on any ship! The singers and dancer's performed Bohemian Rhapsody for the grand finale and it was awesome!

After dinner we attended a computer training session. Holland America has a computer expert on each ship who teaches computer classes. There were 3 classes today but we were at port and only able to attend the last one. All of the classes on this cruise are teaching different functions and applications for using Windows 8 – I think there are about 10 different classes on Windows 8 on a rotating schedule. The class was great and I learned a lot. By the time we get off the ship I hope to know enough that I can feel comfortable getting a tablet with Windows 8. I love that the classes are free – any other cruise ships we have been on with these classes has charged $100.00!

After a mouth-watering prime rib (was tempted to get the pheasant but am glad I got the prime rib – it was so tender and cooked perfectly medium rare) and poached pear with chocolate sauce for dessert – time to call it a night and go to our cabin.
