This is my first attempt to put together an altered bottle and I have to say it was FUN! Although it turned out different than I'd planned I like the end result! I had wanted to use a vintage graphic from my paper stash but I could not find it anywhere and I was soooo frustrated I finally gave up and came up with this lace and metal elements instead! I made this for my sister for Christmas and hope she likes it. This is the front view. The pretty lace applique started out being 14" long and I cut out this part of it. I inked it with Tim Holtz Antique Linen to give it an off-white look as my sister's colors are burgundy and beige in her house. The centerpiece is actually one of a set of earrings I got on clearance at Walmart awhile back and thought it looked so pretty. Thank you so much for stopping by.
