Sunday, April 28th – Uneventful day at sea but we won trivia both times we played! The first time was the general knowledge - I knew the two beaches in Rio de Janeiro – Impanema and Copa Cabana. Is always feels good to know the answer to a question that no one else in the room gets right – we were the only team to get that one. I knew the answer because when we were in Rio de Janeiro in 2009 I made scrapbook pages for both of the beaches.

The second time we played trivia it was “Name That Tune” trivia. Bill doesn't care that much for “Name That Tune” trivia but I love it. I don't do too well with the 80's music or anything more current although I was the only one on our team that got “Free Bird” from the first two notes. Then a song from our high school era - I got Wild Thing from one note! I don't think any other teams in the room got those two.

I was pleased because we were the only team that knew the name of the song, “He's So Fine” from just a few notes (no words), the group (The Chiffons) and the year it was on the charts. I got all 3 parts for our team which earned 3 points and then there was the tie breaker. He played the beginning of “Leader of the pack” and asked what year it was on the charts. One of our team members thought 1961 but I said I though it was 1963 and that was the correct answer! So we were the winners since we answered the tie breaker correctly and the other teams we were tied with all missed it!

One question we missed was to name the song artist of “Purple People Eater”. The contest host gave a big clue – said he would not take Alvin, Theodore or Simon and I automatically thought “The Chipmunks” and I knew the Chipmunks did not record Purple People Eater. What a clue and it went right over my head! Dave Seville recorded Purple People Eater – I'll never forget that again!
