This lo is so good!! I love that you include things from your trips...like the napkin. The pictures on both sides are really great! Sounds like you had a great 1 year anniversary!
omg! love this lo! and the flipping! awesome!
i live near there... i LOVE that ICE CREAM (we get some everytime we go!) and the kissing tree and the trolly rides and... this is great!
i'm glad you had fun on your trip to my neck of the woods!
Okay, where to start. I wanted to have a lot more room without having to flip through six pages of pics. So this set looks like two pages, but opens up to have four more inside, giving 6 pages in the room of 2. This is the outside page on left.
My bf and I went to St. Augustine for our one year dating anniversary. Journaling reads:
December 6-7, 2002: Sion and I celebrated our one year anniversary by visiting Saint Augustine, Florida. The first day we were there, we visited area churches, including the Catholic Church, the Methodist Church and the First Presbyterian Church. That night, we went on the Holly Jolly Trolley and rode around downtown Saint Augustine looking at the lights and singing Christmas Carols. After the ride, we took a Ghost Walk for the second time (once on a prior trip) and, of course, stopped at the kissing tree. The story of the kissing tree says that because these two trees are forever bonded, so will anyone who kissed under them be. The next day, Saint Augustine held their Christmas Parade which was an added bonus to the trip. We ended our trip by visiting Ripley’s Believe It or Not and simply walking around town. At the end, we were tired, but had enjoyed our trip and the ability to just spend time alone together. We spent our real first anniversary at church together at our home church of First Presbyterian of Bartow. The rest of the day we rested and spent more time together.
I used brads for first time on this set of layouts, That is a napkin from the best ice cream place ever, Kilwins, in St. Augustine (if you have been there you know what I mean! they make their own ice cream and cones). We would skip a meal and eat ice cream for a meal! LOL.
The flags are printouts from computer stuck on toothpicks and represents the history of St. Augustine.
Believe me, you might want to find an easier way of attaching pages than what I did, but I am pretty happy with way it FINALLY turned out.
