Dec 1, 2013 we were evacuated (along with many homes in the area) so that one of the tower blocks beside us could be demolished via explosives. The pile of rubble was once a tower block like the one still standing (which will come down sometime this year). in the smaller pic, the building to the right is our apt building so you can see how close we were. We went away for the day as we figured the dust would not be good for my asthma.
