Pure, romantic beauty!! Love all the amazing details and all the layering in! Every detail is just perfect and I am sure your friend is going to go gaga over her Valentine~I know I would :)
That lace cameo w/ the red behind it is perfect for a valentines wedding, and I really like how you laid some of the pink rose buds on their sides and not straight up with the reast of the flowers. Just gorgeous!
OH - MY - GOSH!!! I tink this has got to be the most beautiful wedding LO I've ever seen! This is going to look stunning in a shadow box and not only do I think your friend will love this, but I bet she will cry. Love thepink & red roses and the placement of them, the gold & black accents with hints of green leaves for a pop of additional color. WOW! JUST WOW!
GORGEOUS, heartwarming, ROMANTIC, BEAUTIFUL (did I mention GORGEOUS???). I love the gold button, the pretty doily and your lovely flowers. Kathy is going to love this. What a sweet gift for your friend.
Beautiful page. She will love it. Love the stitching, layering and pretty flowers. And all the special touches just for your friend. Very sweet. I love Old Town Temecula. Haven't been there in years but brought back memories for me when I did. :)
oh my, what a treasure you created! it is gorgeous; love all the details; and you know it's 'my' colors!!!!! when I first glanced at the pic, I thought it was your wedding pic....
Here's a special layout I made for my girlfriend Kathy and her DH, Charlie for their 27th Wedding Anniversary coming up this Valentine's Day. I put it into a shadow box and included a few special items that Kathy has given me over the years.
One of our favorite past times is having a nice leisurely lunch then heading out for an afternoon of treasure hunting in the local second hand stores around Old Town Temecula. Over the years Kathy has blessed me with many treasures and I've added a few of them to this layout. The cream lace cameo and gold heart buttons were both gifts from her so I couldn't resist including them on her special Valentines Day Wedding Gift.
As usual, my techniques are fairly simple. I embossed the filigree heart and key, did a bit of machine sewing and added some handmade flowers. I also used a Krylon pen to add some gold edging and did a bit of black distressing to separate and highlight the layers.
Thanks for dropping by and if you have a minute, I especially appreciate your kind comments. Have a happy day friends! Hugs ~ Dawna
