Give a Cheer
My first layout of 2014 :)!
“The world that I see inside you, waiting to come to life.” Since the very first time I heard this lyric line in 2007 it has brought an image of Avril to my mind. I had always wanted to scrap a page with the title and journal about her. Almost six years later, I saw this photo and that phrase came to my mind once again. I had wanted it to be a very special page that I put my heart into so I kept postponing working on it. Finally, after watching Wilna F's watercoloring video again I had an idea for what I wanted this page to be.
I created my cut file for the globes from a 2P's digi cut and cut it from watercolor paper. Then I had fun trying different colors on scraps until I could decide what looked the best on the globes (green & blue - big surprise ;) ) Actually coloring the globes went pretty quickly. I knew I wanted pink as a color in my layout to complement her pink cardigan and then, of course, map paper or thickers to further emphasis the world theme. Bonus points for me - using a piece of older Basic Grey Olivia paper and the Studio Calico globe stamp from an older kit. tfl!
