This is my first painted bottle. I used Gesso on it first, then when it dried painted it with aqua pearl acrylic paint. The metal filigree was more antique silver and I wanted it lighter so I used Tim Holtz silver metallic mixatives alcohol ink. I didn't have a lid for this bottle so I made a topper using beads I bought at Joann's, Hobby Lobby and Craft Warehouse. This is my 5th altered bottle and I think I will take a breather on them for awhile, although I still have several bottles to decorate. I'm really wanting to make a layout again! Just finished a necklace, bracelet and earring set today also. I had a fun crafting day!
