Oh what a beautiful, bright, and happy page for these sweet photos. Love the pleated doily piece and you are totally rocking the twine flowers - they look so lovely here!! ~ Blessings
This layout has got to be the best one I have seen. You are such a creative woman. Your ideas and techniques are one of a kind, congratulations-- maybe I should take lessons from you
That was a creative twist, using the punch to start with! I can see why you didn't want to cover up that pretty background paper. Love the boys in their animal slippers, too cute!
Beautiful Elizabeth! So cool that you tried the 'draping folds'!! I've done some droopy :) edges but not like this; you give me inspiration to try it! Nice bright colors and adorable photo~
Very cute page! The photo is so sweet. Love the twine flowers and hot air balloon. Unique design with the fanned paper. Love that you tried something new.
Awwww...the photo is so sweet! I love the balloon with the word "up" ...cute idea! The folded paper is interesting, like that you punched it first, and the flowers are very cool! Super cute layout!
Love this paper too. Creative paper bow. Love the colors, cute lady bugs and handmade flowers. This turned out really cute. Great job! Had to be easier than the sofa. lol
Aww-this is sweet! I especially love the twine flowers, and your folded paper looks great; I've been wanting to try that on a LO too-just haven't started the right LO yet :P
Well, here's my first layout of the year and it sure didn't turn out as I had envisioned! I'm still not sure I'm happy with the end result. I just love this picture of the boys when they were little with their little animal houseshoes sitting in the middle of a train track!
First, I knew I wanted to keep the background paper opened enough to see it because I just love it. Second, I wanted to use the blue papers and do a folding design as inspired by Marilyn Rivera and Gabrielle Pollacco. The paper is thick cardstock and even though I misted it with water it is about 1" thickness finished. It just sort of took on a life of its own! The twine flowers I made from a Tracey Sabella tutorial (thanks Tracey). The little ladybugs and dragonfly were shank buttons I've had since the boys were about this age. I cut off the shanks to apply them to this page. The little butterfly is a photo of the actual thing that I printed out on my Print Shop program and fussy cut around it. Thanks so much for stopping by and I'd be glad for any pointers you might have!
