I got the idea for this from two of my t-shirts.. It's a picture of my friend jessica.
I splattered white paint on plain light blue cardstock. I crumpled grey cardstock, ironed it, and brushed gold and silver paint onto it lightly. I distressed the edges around the picture and the mat with sandpaper and paint. I sewed on buttons and broke the back parts off a couple and just glued them on. I also used silver brads that i distressed with sandpaper and some light blue crystal brads. At the bottom I twisted together some tan and black embroidery floss and held it on to the paper with brads. Underneath the tan paper is a hidden picture.. You can see that in the next page. Also, I drew on the J and doodled around it with a gold gel pen.. Idea from the tan t-shirt.
