Las Vegas - Wynn Hotel

This is DH standing in front of the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas. This significance of this photo is that his last name is Wynne, but with an "e" on the end. His father told me that originally their name did not have the "e" on the end. His grandfather added in back in the day because he didn't want to associated with his relatives. He wasn't sure why.

Interesting enough, Steve Wynn's original last name is actually "Weinberg". In 1946 his father changed their family name to Wynn. I guess back then it was easily enough to change your name to whatever you wanted it to be. Therefore, no relation.

I used the Maja Vintage Autum Basics No. XIX

The chippies are Gina's Design, except the lamp post is FabScraps and one of the cogs is Leaky Shed. The wood clock is Bo Bunny.

I got so much inspiration for this page from all the beautiful layouts I have seen posted with this background paper. Thanks everyone!
