Originally, I was just messing around and practicing using Martha Stewart Nautical stencils. I was also practicing inking them. Sometimes I dabbed ink with napkins. Other times I wiped the entire ink pad along the stencil. I liked the page and decided not to toss it, So I made it the entire journaling for my whale watching layouts. I ended up chalking around the outside.
