Another road trip 2011 page (I'm getting there slowly)! Pix of my parents at the RV park in Rapid City, South Dakota. We'd just finished breakfast that the park hosts made (pancakes!) Even Pepper, my parents' RV Dog got his own dogbone-shaped pancake! The park had this giant chess board and, I'm not sure who challenged who, but clearly from the photos my dad is winning! Bit of fun while on the road!
I had this laid out at the end of January for Page Maps, but never managed to get it glued down until my crop on the 2nd and even then, it wasn't done because the letters kept falling off (case in point... 'getting' is missing a 't'! ARGH!) and I wasn't happy with the original 'fun' letters. Like the way this looked much better.
For the Travel challenge (with twist to indicate how you traveled!), Cricut, Hoarders, Project 52 and Scraplift your Faves (I loved phnxscrapper's take on this sketch so much last month, I kinda modelled mine after hers). I cut the 'Getting there' portion of the title out on my cricut as well as the little brown and white circles with the arrow, stop and trailor using Going Places cart. These BG papers are old as the hills, but I hoard the heck out of them because I love them! Pretty much everything is hoarded, the newest things being the wood chevrons because I FINALLY got them! LOL Interesting tidbit, the little 'rv park' sticker is Reminisce and I got the sticker sheet at that RV park because the owner's wife is a big scrapper! :)
