Pop Pop brought you fishing for the first time at your Cub Scout picnic.
I was excited for you since I always loved to go fishing with him when I was a child.
Since fishing is pretty much about sitting and waiting, I wondered how you’d like it.
You have a tendency to hurry through things. You are always so eager to get on to whatever the next thing to do is.
Of course, you can’t rush fishing.
You caught a few fish that day. You hooked your first catch pretty quickly.
Then you had to wait a bit. You said that part was boring. But then you caught a few more. Overall, I think you had a good time and learned that sometimes good things come to those who wait.
