I don't know if you will know that I responded or not TJET but I crinkled some quite long pieces of kraft paper- like the thinner kind that you can use to wrap postal packages and then I sprayed them with some glimmer mist and let them dry- then I took to them with brown ink and topped them off with white staz on. when I put them on the page I had to tear the taps and bottoms to where I wanted the roots and the limbs to be. but they are both just one piece each- which actually made it much easier to work with for me. : ) So glad you like them! thank you all for your sweet sweet and encouraging words!
Oh my gosh...this is fabulous. I love the trees with the leaves across the pages. The little nest is wonderful. Well, you have raised the bar this month. LOL!
THis is an amazing page! I love the trees! Very creative! Glad to have you join us in the Cricut challenge! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
When I decided to make an Easter Layout, I knew I wanted to make a tree. So I hand crafted the trees on the sides that frame the pages. I used the Plantain Schoolbook cricut cart for the grass and the larger leaves. I used the Folk Art Festival cricut cart for the font and the bunnies. The eggs are pearls that I colored with my Spectrum Noir markers. The nest is made out of hemp cord and I thought my robin's eggs turned out so cute!! This LO is really much much prettier in real life and up close- but I have a terrible camera!!
