I created this shabby chic tag for my friend Martica who is celebrating her birthday today. This is my first tag, so I kept it pretty simple. I did try gesso for the first time to do some stenciling. I punched then matted the tag and distressed the edges. Then I fussy cut the angel, cricut cut the pink frame, added a faux mirror and embellished around it with a few chipboard flowers. Added some pink and rose lace, a pearl flourish and a secured a pearl strand to a silver button to create the hanger. By the time I got it the way I liked it, it needed to be balanced on the right side so I added a crystal knob finished it off with gathering of seam binding for ribbon.
