When Alex was 4 to 7 years old we had a game. He built the tracks so that there were no open ends. Sounds easier than it is. The trains also had to be able to run the track without derailing. On the second day of playing with the trains, they took up the challenge with success.
This is another silhouette project. I have been looking for the ideal train. I could not find one I liked. I put in a request at Silhouette.com and was inundated with trains to choose from! This is actually supposed to be more cuts than the outline. All the red lines should be cuts. I suppressed the interior cuts for a simpler version. I also extended the vitage sign to meet the train. I copied three tracks (planks) into a doily circle in the designer software for the train track circles. I used the inner circle to cut the pictures to fit inside.
I had a lot of fun playing with all the different features. Silhouette even allows you to change the blade for your own pens. I did that for the lettering in the sign when it was no standing out.
I also pulled in free train clip art train and had the silhouette cut that.
