Spring Is In The Air! The jumping point for these cards was Graphic 45's paper line, Sweet Sentiments. Both the design print and vintage images are all from the same line. I love the card images, and stamp sized images. They get all my creative juices flowing. For these cards I used a lot of fun techniques. I finally had the opportunity to use my new doily punch that Steve got me for Christmas. I enhanced the doily with a smattering of pearls. These cards feature my signature hand punched and molded floral work, and hearts, centered with brads or gems. Note the largest flower on both cards are the same exact technique. One is folded up, the other down. The images are enhanced either with added baby hearts, or textured flowers. The texturing is hard to see, but the baby chick has a fluffy texture. Some flowers in both large images have added textured flowers, and stems. A satin ribbon wraps up the backdrop. Three pearls enhance the corner thus continuing the pearl embellishment. Inside the card is similar. Instead of the focal image, there is a blank panel for greetings and salutations, with sparse scattering of flower and small hearts.
