Great choice in paper and cardstock - love the way they go together and that punch is a perfect punch for this layout. I am going to lift our idea of putting a solid color behind the punched part so it stands out more. Some of punched projects get lost on patterned paper but this makes the punched part really pop. You are so clever!

You know what? As I sit here looking at this and I started thinking about how I didn't care for history much while I was in school (and I love it now), but I got to thinking that I'd probably have enjoyed it more if my history books were as fun to read as going through your scrapbooks! too bad you couldn't get into the lighthouse. But I love that shot of it and the rubons on the photo. I really like the clam shell punching on this layout - so appropriate. Very cool background paper - it really brings out the colour of the lighthouse!
