NOTE: Felt like the LO was missing a bit of "pop" so changed a few things.

NOTE: Posting my "daily page" a bit late since I was out of town for the weekend.

JOURNAL: We were supposed to have the day at home today and go out to Bowie with Gramma and Poppy tomorrow, but since my girlfriends decided to go over to the mall together tomorrow to the bounce house, I called mom to see if I could reschedule our Bowie trip to today. It was quite a whirlwind getting us dressed, ready and out the door to meet them in the Target parking lot in Bowie.
Cameron was so cute when we got there - he woke up from his nap as soon as I stopped the car to pull up to the curb to pick dad up and said “Mom-mom?” (his word for Gramma) since he knew we were going to see her. I said “There's Poppy!” and Cameron replies “Poppy?!?” in an excited and surprised way. It's so cute to hear him say their names and look forward to seeing them.
Since money is tight with two babies, we went over to “Once Upon a Child” consignment to pick up a spring/summer wardrobe for Cameron. Fortunately Evan will fit in to most of Cameron's hand-me-downs from last summer (although Cameron was two months older). We thought Cameron could play in their little play area, but they took out all the toys! We were thinking how unfortunate it was that they only had tables and chairs and a TV and that I didn't really want Cameron watching TV the entire time we were in there. Cameron put my fears to rest - he spent the entire time playing with the chairs - re-arranging them, pulling them up to the table, putting them in rows… so funny what kids think is “new and exciting”.
We went to Red Robin for lunch and Cameron saw the olympic ice skaters on one of the TVs there and started dancing along to their music in his highchair with his hands above his head like a ballerina. It was hilarious. He did a great job on his lunch and loved his strawberry smoothie.
We went over to Target and I got a few maxi dresses for summer so that I can just throw something on and be ready to chase my boys down our beach! I hula-hooped for Cameron while we were in the store and he thought it was hysterical. He begged me for “More! More!”

PRODUCTS: Papers and elements from "[every day] just february" kit from Lauren Grier. Used the "i love us" card from and repeated the arrow elements from this card from "Cindy's Layered Cards: Love 2 by Cindy Schneider". Used a recolored label from Zoe Pearn's "life helpers" kit, a re-colored/masked border scallop from Zoe Pearn's "Alphabet Soup" kit, and a "sweet memory" stamp from Sugar Plum's LTB notecards set. I made the photo card layouts.
