I created the sun in Illustrator and printed the outline off onto cardstock. I then chalked it using yellow, orange and red with a cosmetic sponge... Stitching it with black thread and then cutting it out.
I used all rubons on the rest of the layout because I ran out of black thread!
The smallest sun's point pulls out for journaling, which explains what we were doing at each location.
