Wonderfully fun title and a great idea for a page! This will be so terrific to look back on years from now! It amazes me how children born to the same family, from the same parents can be soooo different! Must be an interesting home you have!! :)
Very cute! I really want to do this with my girls and I may just copy ;) I don't know if I will use chalk and cheese. I haven't heard it much here but I guess I never really thought it was a nz expression as such.
Lovely layout and it's simple. Like you didn't go looking for differences, it was just as simple as some physical differences which is nice :)
Melissa - you've never heard the phrase "as different as chalk & cheese?" ....
Bascially, it is an English idiom meaning similar in superficial appearance but very dissimilar in nature.
CHALK AND CHEESE - "(U.S. equivalent) 'night and day.' Worlds apart. As different as chalk from cheese is the usual phrase, the equivalent of 'as different as night and day.' This is sometimes shortened to 'chalk and cheese': 'Why, they're as different as chalk and cheese." From "British English: A to Zed" by Norman W. Schur (Harper Perennial, New York, 1987).
I wanted to do a layout showing how completely different my 2 boys are! They are true opposites in almost every way.
