UPDATE: better pic now posted.
Here is another LO of the gorgeous early 1900’s New York model/actress, Evelyn Nesbit that I seem to be obsessed with (LOL). Her natural beauty just astounds me. I really enjoy scrapping her. I may re-post a better pic of this because at the end of the day the outside lighting isn’t the best. Hope you can see the beautiful colors in the paper – mauve rose, aqua blue, yellow, browns and creams.
I chose the gorgeous Prima Fairy Belle collection, “Aquarelle” for the main page. The light aqua blue paper under each photo is from the Kaisercraft Key to My Heart collection and “Magnetizing” is the paper name. The beautiful cursive title is from Want2Scrap that I finally got a blue color that I was satisfied with after about 5 tries. The final color on top of all the others is pigment ink ‘Ice Blue’. “Frosted Lace” Distress Stickles gave it some sparkle. The tiny, dainty white ceramic flowers with pink centers are from China; all other flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts (England). I used Gesso on the Dusty Attic Corner Flourishes, and then acrylic painted with a tawny-blush that I created by mixing colors; then inked the edges with creamy brown pigment ink and finished with a coat of Crackle. I fussy cut the butterflies from a scan I had previously made. The color of the butterflies matches the aqua blue in the main page. I made the vintage stick pin with a Bead Landing metal pin and some jewelry pieces from Michael’s.
Thank you so much for viewing my LO! Have a beautiful day! Lisa : )
