This LO is based on the sketch for the July pages challenge. It is also for the Color challenge: green and brown. And for the 3 product/technique challenge I used chipboard letters, machine stitching, and ink!
Journaling: Gabi, I wanted to celebrate my first day of summer vacation and spend all day playing with you! I bought you a bug catching kit complete with box, magnifying glass, and tweezers. You were so excited to go bug hunting. We walked all around the yard in search of bugs. Although we didn’t find any bugs you did find your first turtle! I hope the turtle is just one of many adventures we have this summer. May 19, 2006
