I've always wanted to make a page of my little girl using this poem. I finally got the chance to snap a photo of her and her dad walking hand in hand after the Easter Egg Hunt.
the pink backgroung is really light IRL, my scan just made it dark somehow. sorry for that.

Poem reads: Walk A Little Slower, Daddy
"Walk a little slower, Daddy,"
said a child so small.
"I'm following in your footsteps
and I do not want to fall."

"Sometimes your steps are very fast,
sometimes they're hard to see.
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
for you are leading me."

"Someday when I am all grown up,
you're all I want to be.
Then I will have a little child
who'll want to follow me."

"And I would want to lead just so
and know that I was true.
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
for I must follow you."

i don't remember where exactly i got this poem but i know it was from the web. (author unkown)
